Now you see me, now you don’t! Hiding in plain sight is an excellent strategy for many species, both for hunter and prey alike. Like a chameleon, you could make yourself invisible by changing your colouring to perfectly match your surrounding. Or, you could make your entire body resemble something else, like a giant leaf insect.
Camouflage is not limited to the world of plants and animals. Humans are developing technologies to render themselves invisible such as the invisibility shield (see below) or through the use of paint.
